Dear students, parents and well wishers. A warm welcome to everyone from the principal and staff of Government P.G College Damoh MP..This institution works under the department of higher education M.P and is affiliated to Maharaja Chhatrsal Bundelkhand University Chhatarpur MP, accredited ‘B’ by NAAC.In our college we prepare the students for a better understanding of the world around them by giving more stress on application level of the concepts and ideas related to the subject. We follow a curriculum based upon the UGC guidelines and also the higher education department of M.P. directives to cover a diverse range of subject combinations. Today’s education requires study of not only academic subjects but training in terms of soft skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and communication proficiency. To achieve the Swami Vivekanand career guidance cell is functional in the college. This cell is constantly monitored by local administration as well as the state higher education department. The placement cell prepares the students to face the challenges posed by the recruitment companies The college has spacious classrooms, modern laboratories, computers and a girls’s hostel. Along with these we have sports facilities too. We have a cricket, hockey, volleyball, tennis, basketball, table- tennis, badminton ground and indoor games facility. We have got a sports officer working in the sports department. The college has two units (boys and girls) of NSS. These units have done commendable work. The college also has NCC units for boys .The college also has a personality development cell, which organizes a programme once in a month .In this programme some well-known personality is invited, who guides the student on personality development. This cell is constantly monitored by the department of higher education M.P. I congratulate all the faculty members, employees and students, who have achieved excellence and outstanding performance in the academic work during the previous academic years. I expect all the students to improve further in achieving greater performance in their future to fulfill the dreams and expectations of their parents and teachers. I sincerely hope that the students will make the best use of the opportunities to become competent professionals, entrepreneurs, and last but not the least, great human beings.
